BBNC offers a part-time licensed community Nursery School program from September to June for preschool children aged 2.5 to 5 years.
My daughter attended the program the year before she started Junior Kindergarten. My impression of this program is very positive. My daughter always went there with great enthusiasm and I believe this really helped with her smooth transition to full-time JK. The daily routine resembles a lot that of Kindergarten – circle time, washroom routine, hand washing and snack, books time, gross motor activity, crafts.
The classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 11:30am and afternoon classes Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Family membership ($40 per year) is required to register for this program + the fees based on the number of days that child attends the program.
BBNC also offers variety other free preschool programs that can help little ones with the adaption to Kindergarten. My daughter took preschool Cooking classes, which were great, but there’s also a Storytelling program, Art program and others.
