A weekly drop in, giving time for your child to play, and you to socialize. On different weeks they do arts and crafts, helping you make fun toys for your child. The normal format is opening with a circle time including introductions, and a few songs. Then either playtime and or arts and crafts, followed by another circle time with songs and possible story. On occasions they run special sessions, including things like, Baby Sign Language, Nutrition for your Child, and Yoga.
While this is run at a YWCA center, Dads are welcome, though they do like the mother to come at first. Saying that exceptions are made for stay at home Dads like myself.
